DeAnna's Reaction: She's uneasy after Graham's mother tells her that he is a bit of a loner and has trouble keeping relationships. The Rose Ceremony

DeAnna has 3 roses to hand out. She gives them to:

Jesse

Jeremy

Jason

Which means that Graham is going home.

Graham seems disappointed but not surprised. DeAnna walks him outside, where she pours out how hurt she is that he never let his guard down with her and says he led her on almost as much as Brad did. She assures him he has no idea how hard it was for her not to call his name, because she really cared about him. "I am saying goodbye to the one person I thought I was falling in love with," she says. "The one person I was letting my guard down and falling for was not falling for me. I can't take the chance that at the end you would not choose me in return." Graham seems overcome and turns away from her. Before he leaves, he gives her a note, saying he knew there were things he'd never be able to say in person. He says she can read the note or burn it, but he wanted her to have it.

"You're doing great, it's going to be good," he whispers in her her ear as he hugs her goodbye.

DeAnna reads the note immediately after he leaves and starts to cry. "My heart is breaking right now," she says. She's scared that she's made the wrong decision in letting Graham go. "First and foremost, I want to be in love," she says through her tears, "and what if that doesn't happen now?"
